Mahavtar Narsimha
Originally a cinematic release praised for its animated production in Hindi and South Indian languages, “Mahavtar Narsimha” is now available in a full HD Hindi version. While its official release on Jio Hotstar is expected much later, a leaked full HD Hindi version can be found on several unofficial platforms.
Mission Impossible At The Final Reckoning
The American espionage action thriller crime mystery drama film, “Mission Impossible At The Final Reckoning,” starring Tom Cruise, is now available in India. After its release in many international countries with Hindi dub, it was released in India on August 20 on a rental basis via Bookmy Show Stream and Google Play TV in Hindi dub.
Hari Hara Veera Mallu Part One: Sword vs Spirit
“Hari Hara Veera Mallu Part One: Sword vs Spirit” is an Indian Telugu language historical adventure drama film featuring Pawan Kalyan. Despite being highly anticipated, the movie did not perform well in cinemas and is now making its OTT premiere on Amazon Prime Video. Although it was initially released with a Hindi dub, the Hindi version was quickly removed due to what was described as “Amazon Prime’s mistake.” The movie is currently available in South Indian languages on Amazon Prime, with the Hindi dubbed version expected to return this week or next.
Upcoming OTT Releases This Week
Suthravaakyam
An Indian Malayalam language mystery thriller drama film, “Suthravaakyam,” which was a 2025 cinema release, is digitally premiering on Lionsgate Play. Starting August 21, you can stream “Suthravaakyam” in Hindi dubbed, Malayalam, Tamil, and Kannada languages.
Peacemaker Season 2
DC Studios presents “Peacemaker Season 2,” an HBO Max Original eight-episode American dark comedy sci-fi crime thriller drama superhero series. This season continues the story of mercenary Chris Smith, linking events from the Peacemaker series and following the events of the 2025 film Superman. The first episode of “Peacemaker Season 2” will be released on Jio Hotstar on August 22, with subsequent episodes dropping weekly until October 10. It will be available in Hindi, Tamil, and English.
Fall For Me
“Fall For Me” is an upcoming Netflix Original German erotic mystery thriller drama film set to release on Netflix on August 21. Viewers can watch this film in English, German, and Hindi dubbed languages.
Amar Boss
The Bengali black comedy series “Amar Boss” is scheduled for release on Zee5 this week.
Maa
Starring Kajol, the movie “Maa” is making its OTT premiere on Netflix this week, from August 2. The film tells the story of a mother and daughter who encounter a demon in a village where girls are disappearing. “Maa” links to a horror universe and will feature a cameo, connecting to an upcoming movie. It had a decent start in cinemas but didn’t sustain due to the lack of a big star cast.
Maresan
“Maresan” is a cinema release movie coming to Netflix on August 22. The film stars Fahadh Faasil as a thief who embarks on a road trip with an elderly man suffering from memory loss, exploring how this encounter impacts his life. Originally a Tamil language movie, “Maresan” will be available in Tamil on Netflix, with a Hindi dubbed release highly anticipated.
Shodha
Another Bengali series, “Shodha,” is set to premiere on Zee5 starting August 2.
Thalaivan Thalaivi
“Thalaivan Thalaivi” is a romantic comedy drama film that was a cinema release, featuring Vijay Sethupathi and Nithya Menen. The movie portrays the story of two headstrong individuals who are not easily convinced by each other but strive to bring their lives together. “Thalaivan Thalaivi” will have its OTT premiere on Netflix on August 22. While originally a Tamil film, a Hindi dubbed version is expected. If not available in Hindi, it will be streamable in Tamil.
