Krrish 4 Updates: What We Know So Far
Hrithik Roshan’s Krrish series has been a fan favorite ever since its inception. The recent speculation that the film was delayed due to a massive budget of ₹700 crore had disappointed many fans. However, Rakesh Roshan has now cleared the air and officially declared that Krrish 4 is happening!
In a recent interview with ANI News, Rakesh Roshan was directly asked whether another film in the Krrish series is in development. He responded with an exciting revelation:
“Yes, everything is almost ready. I will be making an official announcement very soon.”
While he has not revealed the exact release date or detailed plans, his confirmation has sent fans into a frenzy.
Rakesh Roshan Will Not Direct Krrish 4
Interestingly, Rakesh Roshan, who directed previous Krrish films, had earlier announced his retirement from film direction. This means that after directing iconic films like Koi… Mil Gaya, Krrish, and Krrish 3, he will not be helming Krrish 4.
In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Rakesh Roshan opened up about his decision to pass on the director’s chair to someone else, stating:
“A time comes when you have to hand over the baton to someone else. It’s better to do it when I am still aware and can oversee everything.”
He also expressed that having a new director does not guarantee success or failure and that the film can still be a hit even without his direction.
Karan Malhotra Likely to Direct Krrish 4
Rumors are strong that Karan Malhotra, the director of Agneepath (2012) and Shamshera (2022), might take charge of Krrish 4. Although no official confirmation has been made regarding the director, Rakesh Roshan’s hints strongly suggest Karan Malhotra is the top contender for the role.
12-Year Wait Ends: Krrish 4 Finally in Development
It has been 12 long years since the release of Krrish 3 (2013), and fans of the franchise are eagerly waiting to see Hrithik Roshan return as the beloved superhero. Now that the film has been confirmed, the excitement surrounding Krrish 4 is at an all-time high.
