However, he had previously announced his retirement from directing, which means Krrish 4 will be helmed by a new filmmaker.
In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Rakesh Roshan openly discussed his decision to hand over the directorial responsibilities to someone else. He shared that he believes the transition should happen while he is active in the industry, so he can supervise the project and ensure its quality.
He explained:
“There is no guarantee that if I direct Krrish 4, it will be a blockbuster. It could also flop. So, it’s better to pass the baton to someone new while I can still oversee the project.”
It is highly speculated that Karan Malhotra, known for his work on Agneepath and Shamshera, might take over the direction of Krrish 4.
