Allu Arjun and director Atlee have officially started working on their much-awaited film. This project has gone through several speculations before reaching its final form. Initially, it was rumored to be a two-hero film, with Salman Khan’s name attached to it. There were also discussions about casting Rajinikanth or Kamal Haasan alongside Salman Khan, but the casting couldn’t be finalized.
Later, news came in that Salman Khan had opted out, and Allu Arjun was considered for the film. However, fresh reports suggested that Salman Khan rejoined the project and would be playing the lead hero, while Allu Arjun would be portraying a villain for the first time in his career.
Biggest Deal in Indian Cinema History
According to the latest reports, Atlee’s film is now confirmed with Allu Arjun. He has signed one of the biggest deals in Indian cinema history for this project. As per sources, Allu Arjun has locked a massive ₹175 crore deal with the producers, Sun Pictures. Along with that, he will also receive a 15% profit share from the movie’s revenue. This marks the largest front-end deal ever signed by an actor in the industry.
The project is expected to begin in August 2025, as Allu Arjun has allocated his dates for the film. The makers plan to start production between August and October, depending on the pre-production progress.
High-End VFX & Stellar Storytelling
The film will heavily rely on VFX to create a unique cinematic universe. Despite the significant use of visual effects, Atlee will maintain his signature filmmaking style, ensuring that politics and drama remain integral to the movie’s storyline.
Additionally, reports suggest that the screenplay will incorporate typical Atlee elements, including a grand hero introduction and high-voltage drama. This project is shaping up to be the most ambitious venture for both Atlee and Allu Arjun.
