Rakesh Roshan Confirms the Official Announcement
During a recent interview with ANI News, Rakesh Roshan was asked whether another Krrish film was indeed in the works. He promptly responded:
“Yes, everything is almost ready. I will make an official announcement very soon.”
Although he did not reveal the exact timeline for the announcement or further details about the movie’s production, this statement clearly indicates that the makers are gearing up to take Krrish 4 to the next level.
Rakesh Roshan Will Not Be Directing Krrish 4
Previously, Rakesh Roshan had announced his decision to step away from directing films. After helming blockbuster hits like Koi… Mil Gaya, Krrish, and Krrish 3, he confirmed he would not direct the next installment in the series.
In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, the veteran filmmaker expressed his thoughts on letting someone else take over the director’s chair:
“That day will eventually come when I have to hand over the responsibility to someone else. It’s better to do this while I am in the right state of mind so that I can supervise everything properly and ensure it’s made the right way.”
He also acknowledged that there’s no certainty whether his direction would guarantee a blockbuster, saying:
“There’s no guarantee that if I direct Krrish 4, it will be a super hit. It could even be a flop.”
This strongly hints that filmmaker Karan Malhotra could be the one directing Krrish 4.
Krrish 4 Comes After a 12-Year Gap
The last film in the franchise, Krrish 3, was released in 2013. Now, after a long 12 years, it looks like Krrish 4 is finally happening. Fans are eagerly waiting for the official announcement, and this latest update has only fueled their excitement.
