Allu Arjun & Salman Khan Stuck Over Budget Issues After the success of Jawan with Shah Rukh Khan, director Atlee has been in the news for his next big project. Reports suggested that he was planning a big-budget film with Allu Arjun, followed by another with Salman Khan. However, both projects are now on hold due to budget concerns.
Why Atlee’s Films with Allu Arjun & Salman Khan Are Delayed?
🔹 Atlee’s High Fees: The director is reportedly demanding ₹100 crore to direct Allu Arjun’s film, significantly increasing the film’s budget.
🔹 Budget Concerns:
- The Allu Arjun-starrer was already planned as a ₹500 crore project.
- Makers fear that if the film performs average at the box office, it will result in huge financial losses.
🔹 OTT & Satellite Rights:
- These days, OTT platforms are buying digital rights at lower prices, making it difficult to recover production costs.
- With music and satellite rights also fetching lower amounts, producers are hesitant to invest big.
What About Salman Khan’s Film?
🔹 Atlee wants a massive budget for this project as well.
🔹 The initial plan was to cast superstars like Rajinikanth or Kamal Haasan, but both were busy with prior commitments.
🔹 There were even talks about offering a role to Hollywood star Will Smith, but the makers preferred a South Indian superstar instead.
Will Atlee Announce His Next Film Soon?
Currently, there is no official confirmation on these projects. The industry is waiting for Atlee’s next big move. If the budget concerns are resolved, we could soon see him directing either Allu Arjun or Salman Khan in a pan-India film.
