This is the review of the new movie. Azad, which is a movie made on a completely different topic starring Ajay Devgan and a new pair, Rasha Thadani and Aman Devgan, and most importantly, a horse. So how is this movie? Let’s talk about it. First of all, let me tell you this movie is made by Abhishek Kapoor, whose previous movies got a lot of love from people like Kedarnath, Kai Pooche, or the extremely well-made musical movie Rock On, Abhishek Kapoor. Direction is very unique, and if the concept is also unique, then it becomes something else, and the concept of Azad is also unique, in which there is a horse named Azad who is the playboy of Vikram Singh, and Ajay Devgan wants to get him. or wants to ride him, a new young boy working in the stable, Govind, played by Aman Devgan, and meanwhile another important character and Govind’s love interest is Janaki, played by Rasha Thadani, and I must say, after many days, there has come a pair whose acting skills I can see a future in.
Accurate acting, no overdrama. Although this film is a period piece from 1920, it uses its music and BGM well. It has been mixed, and I love Amit Trivedi’s music, brother; whoever knows, his music blends perfectly with the retro and period era of this movie; the main hero of the rest of the movie is this horse. His training is truly impressive! This must be the reason why this horse is also acting expression-wise in this movie, brother, and the chemistry shown between Azad and Aman Devgan, brother, even a hero and heroine don’t have such excellent chemistry, and along with the chemistry, there is a light flirtation between them. The situational comedy, which the audience in my theater was thoroughly enjoying, continues to unfold; the rest of the story provides a unique overview of the film’s core elements, with the horse race scene serving as the film’s climax. Brother, how are you doing? It must have happened in the movie Lagaan; there was a moment of unexpected six in the last ball. You will have an intense and thrilling experience. I am talking about the climax; I am talking about a particular climax, though it was a bit predictable. Despite knowing it, it still impressed us on the basis of its presentation. But you will definitely enjoy that moment.
After a long time, this movie has finally released, showcasing the emotional bonding between an animal and a human. Portraying friendship and loyalty toward each other through emotions is tough, but here director Abhishek Kapoor has given that ease. We have presented you with family-friendly, lighthearted content that you can easily watch with your friends, family, and even children.
Ajay Devgan plays a significant role, but it only lasts until the first half. You can call it a cameo. After the first half, there is a twist where you will definitely enjoy the emotional journey of humans and animals on the big screen, even with the real set locations of mountains and sand. The areas shown have kept the authenticity of the film intact, and it feels like you are watching a raw film and not a film full of VF1.
So overall my experience was quite good. My expectations from this film were higher than they were. I did not go there with any expectations, but it blew my mind, and the shows here are also running housefull because of the positive word of mouth, so for its direction, new concept, and presentation, it easily gets 3.5 out of five stars from me.
