*”Brahmastra is Ayan Mukerji’s dream project. He has been deeply invested in this vision for a long time, and he is currently working on *War 2*. Once that is released, he will shift his full focus to the pre-production of Brahmastra 2.”*

Ranbir Kapoor also addressed the rumors that the sequel had been shelved. He stated that while there has been no official announcement yet, the filmmakers are planning an exciting reveal for the project. Reports also suggest that *Brahmastra 2* could be jointly financed by Dharma Productions and Adar Poonawalla’s company, Serum Institute.
This partnership may impact Ayan’s storytelling and production strategies since *Brahmastra 2* is expected to be a big-budget film. However, some industry sources believe that certain production houses might hesitate to invest in the sequel due to its massive budget.
