The Diplomat Box Office Collection (6 Days)
John Abraham’s action-thriller The Diplomat, directed by Shivam Nair, has faced a challenging run at the box office. The film, which had a decent start, started witnessing a decline in collections after the first three days.
With a budget of ₹ crore, the film has struggled to recover its costs. The day-wise collection breakdown is as follows:
- First 4 days: ₹14.98 crore (India net)
- 5th day (Tuesday): ₹1.63 crore
- 6th day (Wednesday): ₹1.45 crore
This brings the total India net collection to ₹21.06 crore, while the India gross collection has reached ₹21.09 crore. In overseas markets, the film has fared modestly, collecting ₹3.97 crore worldwide, taking the total worldwide collection to ₹25.46 crore.
With its underwhelming performance, it remains to be seen if The Diplomat can pick up from here or continues its struggle at the box office.
Sikandar: Salman Khan’s Big Eid Release
One of the most awaited films of 2025, Sikandar is directed by A.R. Murugadoss and stars Salman Khan, Rashmika Mandanna, and Kajal Aggarwal. The teaser of the film already created a massive buzz, heightening expectations.
The song Naache Sikandar received a fantastic response, adding to the excitement among fans. However, while the film is scheduled for an Eid release, the exact release date was recently confirmed as March 30, 2025 (Sunday).
Unlike traditional Friday releases, Sikandar will now cash in on the Sunday and Eid holiday the following day, maximizing its box office potential. The official trailer is expected between March 20-25, 2025.
Given Salman Khan’s box office dominance, Sikandar is expected to emerge as a massive blockbuster. Now, the big question remains—can it surpass Chhava’s record?
Salaar: Re-Release Box Office Collection
Prashanth Neel’s Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, starring Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, and Jagapathi Babu, originally released in December 2023, was a monstrous hit.
Now, the film is set for a re-release on March 21, 2025, specifically in Telugu language in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The advance booking response has been incredible:

- Telangana advance booking: ₹ crore 1.99 lakh
- Total advance booking: ₹ crore 92 lakh

Chhava: 34 Days Box Office Report
Directed by Laxman Utekar, Chhava starring Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna has been a game-changer at the box office. Released on February 14, 2025, in Hindi and later in Telugu, the film has witnessed extraordinary success.
Despite entering its 5th week, Chhava continues to rake in crores daily. As of Day 34, the collection stands as follows:
- 32 Days India Net Collection: ₹576.93 crore
- 33rd Day: ₹ crore 68 lakh
- 34th Day: ₹ crore
- Total India Net Collection: ₹582.11 crore
- India Gross Collection: ₹692.17 crore
- Overseas Collection: ₹91.28 crore
- Total Worldwide Collection: ₹783 crore+
With a budget of ₹130 crore, Chhava has proven to be a mammoth blockbuster, earning several times its cost.
Will Sikandar Surpass Chhava?
