**Ganesh Acharya on Bollywood vs. South Industry & His Experience with Pushpa 2**

Renowned choreographer Ganesh Acharya has choreographed all the songs of Allu Arjun’s much-awaited film *Pushpa 2: The Rule*. Previously, he choreographed *Oo Antava* from *Pushpa: The Rise*, which became a sensational hit with its dance steps trending widely. Recently, Ganesh Acharya shared his thoughts about *Pushpa* and even highlighted key differences between the South Film Industry and Bollywood.

### Bollywood’s Ego Problem: Ganesh Acharya Speaks Out

In a recent interview on Bharati and Harsh’s YouTube channel, Ganesh Acharya expressed his perspective on Bollywood, claiming that ego is a significant problem in the industry. He stated:

*”Bollywood is filled with ego, which shouldn’t be the case. I am not saying the entire industry is like this; there are many good people. However, those struggling with this issue cannot do much about it. The audience also tends to support dramatic actors more. If a film becomes a hit, only the actor gets the recognition, while the effort of the director and choreographer remains overlooked.”*

According to Ganesh, this is not the case in the South Film Industry.

### How South Industry Acknowledges Artists’ Contributions

Sharing his experience with *Pushpa*, he revealed how *Allu Arjun* personally acknowledged his efforts, something he claims never happened in Bollywood.

*”When I choreographed *Pushpa* songs, five days later, Allu Arjun himself called me and said, ‘Masterji, this happened because of you.’ Till today, no Bollywood artist has called me to appreciate my work. Allu Arjun told me people are praising my choreography, which is making him look better.”*

Additionally, Ganesh Acharya was invited to the *Pushpa* success party in Hyderabad, where he witnessed something extraordinary.

*”I expected the party to be about people eating and drinking. But there was a stage where the entire team recognized the contributions of every worker. Even the lightmen and spot boys were honored by Allu Arjun and Sukumar. It was amazing to witness as they were given awards for their work. I have never seen this before in my career.”*

### Behind the Making of *Pushpa 2*’s Spectacular Dance Sequence

Ganesh further shared the challenging yet rewarding experience of choreographing the grand “Yatra” sequence in *Pushpa 2: The Rule*.

*”It took us around 29 days to shoot the sequence with about 500 dancers involved.”*

This speaks volumes about the effort and dedication involved in making such a grand film.

### *Pushpa 2* – A Record-Breaking Hindi Film

Despite being a non-Hindi film, *Pushpa 2* has entered the league of India’s highest-grossing films. It surpasses several Bollywood films in terms of box office earnings and popularity.

Ganesh Acharya’s candid remarks about Bollywood’s ego clashes versus the South industry’s inclusive approach highlight an essential shift in the film industry dynamics. His experience with *Pushpa 2* is a testament to how the South Indian industry values every contributor, no matter their role.
