Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan has sustained an injury during the shoot of War 2, leading to a delay in the film’s production. The actor, known for his high-energy performances, reportedly got hurt while rehearsing for an intense dance number in the film.
What Happened on the Set?
The upcoming film War 2, directed by Ayan Mukerji, features Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR in lead roles. According to reports, a high-energy dance sequence was being shot when Hrithik suffered an injury. The actor had already practiced intensively for 15 days before filming the song. However, the injury forced shooting to be postponed.
After being examined by doctors, Hrithik Roshan has been advised to take complete rest for four weeks. This means the shooting schedule for this particular sequence has been pushed further.
Delay in War 2 Shoot – What’s Next?
Although a major part of War 2 has been completed, Hrithik and Jr. NTR’s dance face-off is still pending. The delay is also affecting Jr. NTR’s schedule as he has multiple commitments, including his upcoming film Devara and other projects.
Previously, there were reports that Jr. NTR was not pleased with the slow progress of the film. However, with Hrithik’s injury, the actors have no option but to resume filming in May 2024.
