# John Abraham Talks About His Chemistry with Akshay Kumar and Possible Sequels of Garam Masala & Desi Boyz
John Abraham and Akshay Kumar have shared the screen in two blockbuster comedy films – *Garam Masala* and *Desi Boyz*. Both these movies are counted among Bollywood’s most entertaining comedy films. Recently, John Abraham opened up about working with Akshay Kumar and the possibility of sequels for these films.
## John Abraham Shares Experience of Working with Akshay Kumar
In an interview with Pinkvilla, John Abraham expressed that working with Akshay Kumar feels like a vacation. When asked about the internet’s love for *Garam Masala* and *Desi Boyz* memes and his on-screen chemistry with Akshay, he replied,
*”I don’t think any two actors share the kind of chemistry that Akshay and I have.”*
When questioned about the possibility of collaborating again on a comedy project, John revealed that he occasionally talks to Akshay and maintains a good friendship with *Desi Boyz* director Rohit Dhawan. According to John, Rohit is more like a younger brother to him.
## *Garam Masala* and *Desi Boyz* Sequels in the Works?
John further disclosed that both he and Akshay are excited about making sequels for their previous collaborations. He believes that both *Garam Masala* and *Desi Boyz* deserve sequels. Talking about working with Akshay, he said,
*”For me, working with Akshay is like a vacation. We had a great time together. I love comedy because when you go to the theater, you want to laugh. So yes, comedy is always fun.”*
During the interview, he also mentioned that when working on a film with Akshay, they maintain discipline by sleeping early and waking up early for shoots.
## John Abraham and Akshay Kumar’s Upcoming Movies
John Abraham was recently seen in *The Diplomat*, which garnered ₹1 crore at the domestic box office within seven days of its release.
On the other hand, Akshay Kumar was last seen in *Sky Force*, which collected nearly ₹100 crore. He is currently working on multiple projects, including *Housefull 5*, *Welcome to the Jungle*, *Kesari 2*, and *Jolly LLB 3*. Additionally, he is busy shooting for Priyadarshan’s upcoming film *Bhoot Bangla*.
