“Yes, everything is almost set! I will be making an official announcement very soon.”
While he didn’t reveal specific details about the film’s plot, cast, or expected release date, this confirmation was enough to send fans into a frenzy.
Rakesh Roshan Will Not Direct Krrish 4
One major revelation from this interview was that Rakesh Roshan will not be directing Krrish 4, unlike the previous parts of the franchise. The director, who has helmed Koi Mil Gaya (2003), Krrish (2006), and Krrish 3 (2013), had previously announced his decision to step back from directing.
In an earlier conversation with Bollywood Hungama, he shared his emotional perspective on handing over the reins to someone else. He stated,
“The time will come when I have to pass the baton to someone else. It’s better to do it while I am around so I can oversee everything and ensure it’s made the right way.”
Rakesh Roshan also admitted that even if he directed Krrish 4, there was no guarantee that it would become a blockbuster. He reiterated that he wasn’t disappointed about someone else handling the direction, adding,
“Even if I direct Krrish 4, there is no guarantee that it will be a super hit. It could even fail.”
Who Will Direct Krrish 4?
There are strong speculations that Karan Malhotra will be directing the film. Although there hasn’t been an official confirmation regarding this, Rakesh Roshan’s statements indicate a high possibility of Karan Malhotra stepping in as the director.
