Krrish 4 Finally Confirmed!
There were earlier reports that Krrish 4 had been delayed due to a massive budget of ₹700 crore, but now, Rakesh Roshan himself has provided a crucial update on the film. Fans who have been eagerly anticipating news about the next installment can now rejoice, as the film is finally nearing its official announcement.
In a recent interview with ANI News, Rakesh Roshan was asked about the status of Krrish 4. He responded with a statement that confirmed the film’s progress.
“Yes, everything is almost ready. I will be making the announcement very soon,” said Rakesh Roshan.
Though he did not reveal the exact timeline for the announcement or share details about the project, his confirmation has fueled excitement among fans.
Rakesh Roshan to Not Direct Krrish 4
Previously, Rakesh Roshan had announced his retirement from direction. This means that after directing Koi… Mil Gaya, Krrish, and Krrish 3, he will not be directing Krrish 4.
In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, he spoke about handing over the reins of direction to someone else. He mentioned that since he is still actively working, it is better to make this transition now.
“That day will come when I will have to hand over the responsibility to someone else. It’s better to do it consciously so that I can ensure everything goes as planned.”
Interestingly, he also addressed the possibility of failure and stated that his direction does not guarantee a blockbuster.
“There is no assurance that if I direct Krrish 4, it will be a blockbuster. It could even flop. That’s why I am not emotional about someone else directing the movie.”
Who Will Direct Krrish 4?
While the director for Krrish 4 has not been officially confirmed, reports strongly suggest that Karan Malhotra, known for directing Agneepath (2012) and Shamshera (2022), is the frontrunner to take up the responsibility.
The last film in the franchise, Krrish 3, was released in 2013 and was a massive hit. Now, after a long gap of 12 years, preparations for Krrish 4 have finally begun.
