**Salman Khan’s Candid Conversation on Bollywood Film Quality and Upcoming Release “Sikandar”**

Salman Khan recently engaged in a candid conversation with the media ahead of the release of his movie “Sikandar.” Despite the makers starting the promotion quite late, Salman’s words shed light on both his career journey and Bollywood’s evolving landscape.

When asked about the recent spate of Hindi films, including his, not performing well at the box office, Salman candidly responded, “When films are made poorly, they are bound to flop.” He acknowledged that even his films, if they don’t perform well, should be considered bad. Salman emphasized the responsibility that stars have when it comes to a film’s success or failure, mentioning, “A star is the one who is seen on the theatre posters. If films don’t do well, the blame partially falls on them.”

Expressing his concerns about the film industry’s recent trajectory, Salman pointed out the lack of quality work being produced, saying, “Directors and producers are often in competition with each other rather than focusing on the audience.” He advised filmmakers to create movies with the audience in mind, suggesting that they write movies as if they themselves would enjoy them from the front row. Salman reminded everyone that audiences have become more discerning with the rise of OTT platforms, which provide access to diverse cinema globally.

Highlighting a common issue, Salman noted that films are sometimes made based on an actor’s availability and the budget, rather than focusing on a solid script. He shared advice from his father, emphasizing, “A film should only be made when you have the best script.” However, he remains optimistic, predicting the industry will soon overcome these challenges.

Regarding his upcoming movie “Sikandar,” set to hit theaters on March 30, Salman acknowledged the mixed reactions its trailer received, mentioning that the film contains much more than what the trailer could show. “Sikandar” features an ensemble cast including Rashmika Mandanna, Satyaraj, Kajal Aggarwal, Shravan Joshi, and Prateik Babbar, promising to bring a dynamic narrative to audiences.
