He explained that *Sikandar* is a massive-scale film, with certain scenes requiring a crowd of 10,000 to 20,000 people. However, the security became even more stringent when Salman Khan started receiving life-threatening messages.
Murugadoss further elaborated that after the threats, extra security measures were implemented on set. The checking process for background artists took approximately one to two hours per day, delaying the shooting process significantly. Due to these measures, the daily filming schedule got disrupted, leading to late-night shoots. The team had to adapt to this new routine, which initially altered their biological cycles but eventually became the norm. Despite these challenges, a strong sense of positivity and energy remained on the sets.
### **The Threats Against Salman Khan**
Salman Khan faced multiple threats last year, including an alarming incident where gunshots were fired outside his residence. The situation escalated further when, on November 5, 2024, Mumbai Police received a message threatening Salman’s life. Reports suggest that this threat came from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
Following these incidents, the Mumbai Police took strict action and significantly heightened Salman Khan’s security. The filmmakers ensured maximum precautions were in place during the filming of *Sikandar* to protect both the cast and crew.
### **Sikandar’s Release and Expectations**
With all the hurdles faced during production, *Sikandar* is now fully complete and ready for release. The movie will soon be submitted to the censor board, after which fans can expect its theatrical debut on **March 30, 2024**.
