**Salman Khan’s ‘Sikandar’ Trailer Released: Mixed Public Response Yet High Expectations**

Salman Khan’s much-anticipated film ‘Sikandar’ has finally released its trailer, receiving a mixed response from the public. However, the makers remain confident about the movie’s performance. At the trailer launch event, Salman expressed optimism regarding the film’s box office collection. He remarked that regardless of whether a movie is good or bad, the audience ensures it surpasses the 100-200 crore mark.

In recent years, the industry has seen a new benchmark for film earnings; movies that exceed 500 crores at the box office are considered successful. Notable examples include ‘Jawan’, ‘Pathaan’, ‘Dunki’, and ‘Tiger 3’. The makers of ‘Sikandar’ are also hopeful that their film will similarly cross the 500-crore threshold.

Discussing the strategic release on Eid and Sundays at the trailer launch, Salman highlighted that whether it’s Eid, Diwali, or New Year, it’s the audience’s love that propels the films beyond 100-200 crores, regardless of their quality. Though he didn’t name any films directly, his comment could be seen as a nod to ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan’, which received poor reviews but still managed to collect over ₹100 crores.

At the same event, Salman addressed questions about the 30-year age gap between him and co-star Rashmika Mandanna, saying that if the actress and her father don’t have an issue, others shouldn’t either.

The trailer launch was also attended by A. R. Murugadoss, Rashmika Mandanna, Sajid Nadiadwala, Kajal Aggarwal, Sathyaraj, and Anjini Dhawan. ‘Sikandar’ is scheduled to release on March 30, with advance bookings in India starting from March 25.
