Title: Satyaraj Elated to Meet Salim Khan During “Sikander” Trailer Launch
On the occasion of the trailer launch for Salman Khan’s upcoming movie “Sikander,” renowned actor Satyaraj, famously known for his iconic role as Kattappa in “Baahubali,” shared his delight and excitement not just from being part of the film but from meeting Salim Khan. Salman Khan introduced Satyaraj to his father, Salim Khan, referring to him as Kattappa, which was a moment of great joy for Satyaraj.
During the event, Satyaraj revealed that meeting Salim Khan was more significant for him than working with Salman Khan. He expressed his admiration for the legendary scriptwriters Salim-Javed, who have been responsible for turning numerous actors into heroes through their brilliant scripts. Satyaraj mentioned his long-standing admiration for them since his college days, marking this meeting as a highlight of his career.
Having been in the film industry for over 47 years, Satyaraj credited his initial success to his roles as a villain, which laid the foundation for his career as a lead hero in over 100 films. In “Sikander,” directed by A.R. Murugadoss, Satyaraj takes on the role of the primary antagonist, something he relishes and has previously set trends with.
As per the trailer, speculations are afloat that Sunil Shetty might also appear in the film, although details about his role remain undisclosed. The Central Board of Film Certification has granted “Sikander” a U/A certificate, indicating that viewers above 13 can watch the movie, while those under 13 will need parental guidance. The film’s run time is set at 2 hours and 20 minutes, with the first half lasting 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Director A.R. Murugadoss has described “Sikander” as an emotional film, drawing parallels to the love story depicted in “Ghajini.” The film focuses on a romantic narrative between a husband and wife. Ready for release on March 30, it remains to be seen how audiences will receive it.
